Tahiti
Tahiti is an island in French Polynesia, located in the center of South Pacific Ocean. It’s part of the Society Islands and is the largest of the islands, with an area of 1,043 square km. It’s made up of two interconnected parts, Tahiti Nui (the larger part) and Tahiti Iti (the smaller part). The island is the gateway to this stunning region because Tahiti has the only international airport.
